Who We Are
How are Septic Tanks Inspected
The inspector can do the actual inspection after exposing every component. The majority of septic systems have a straightforward architecture that hasn’t changed much in decades. The home and the tank are connected via the main plumbing line, also known as the sewer lateral; as the system is gravity fed, everything must gradually slope downward.
The first compartment of a two-compartment tank is intended to ferment the majority of the “solids,” while the second compartment converts smaller solids into a transparent liquid. To prevent sediments from blocking the drain field, the baffle wall, sanitary tees, and filter are installed (previous tanks do not have these).
The input, tank processing, and outflow absorption into the drain field are all delicately balanced in a septic system. You are leaving this continuity of the balance up to chance and running a significant risk of potential expense if you don’t do a proper inspection. Although septic tank repairs might be costly, it is far preferable to learn about an issue before purchasing a house than to deal with it later.
